Dr. Taabazuing co-organized a mini symposium at ASBMB with Dr. Charles Evavold and invited some of the rising stars in innate immune research to present. We invited Drs. Pedro Saavedra, Katherine Barnett, Kasia Groborz, and Jianbin Ruan. Chris also presented a poster at the meeting and our very own Dr. Donita Brady was awarded the Ruth Kirsschteine Award for promoting inclusive excellence! She was introduced by the Dr. Kristen Lynch, chair of the Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics department at Penn.
