The Taabazuing lab hosted the 1st annual lab olympics. We competed in several events and team Corndog came out with the win!

Dr. Lydia Grmai from Yale University delivered the 4th Juneteenth Seminar on how nutrient sensing impacts fertility. This was a collaborative effort between many departments and institutes and we are grateful to all our partners.

ASBMB 2026!!

We celebrated all the wins throughout the year, including paper submissions, publications, awards, and grants.

The 2025 BBCB retreat in the Poconos at Skytop Lodge was so much fun as usual! Everyone presented a poster and we were able to take some lab pics.

Chris and I went to the International Proteolysis Society Meeting in Brazil where we both presented work from the lab. Chris won one of the best poster awards! Congrats Chris!!

Pat was the first graduate student to join our lab. The lab had a chance to attend his wedding on October 18th. It was amazing to see him and Jackie join together as husband and wife. Also included here are just some moments of Pat being awesome, from celebrating his birthday with the newest graduate student, Robbie, to halloween and getting his first paper framed.

Ikram presented his research for the summer before returning to Yale to start his senior year. We wish him the best of luck.

I hosted the lab for our Holiday Party this year. The food was amazing but the company was even better!

I nominated Bohdana for the Best Lab Manager of the year award for 2024, and she’s a top 5 finalist!
